How have the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements impacted your campus? How are colleges and universities reviewing and auditing policies and procedures related to faculty, staff and students to ensure they are able to quickly identify and address sexual harassment and sexual assault allegations? More importantly, what are campuses doing to proactively change the culture to eliminate, or significantly lessen, the likelihood that harassment or assault will occur? During this very interactive session, participants will engage in dialog regarding best practices that elevate the importance of campus action as not just a risk management imperative, but an organizational imperative.

As a result of participating in this session, attendees will understand how to respond to the increase in sexual harassment complaints from the #MeToo movement, learn how to leverage the visibility of the #MeToo movement to reevaluate policies and procedures to reduce the risk of inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace and improve institutional response, and appreciate the connection between culture and sexual harassment, and how to strive for needed cultural shifts.
