CORE COMPETENCY ORGANIZATIONAL ENGAGEMENT: Compliance is a significant area of risk for higher education, and most institutions are creating enterprise programs (often as a companion to ERM) to meet legal obligations and minimize exposure. But even an established compliance program is not enough. An institution must be able to determine and then document that their program is effective. This session will provide a “model template” for your use in gathering data, benchmarking metrics, and demonstrating ROI.

As a result of participating in this session, attendees will explore:
1. What are the possible approaches to a campus-wide compliance program?
2. What are the hallmarks (and challenges) of an effective compliance program?
3. How can you confirm and document – with data – that your compliance program is working effectively?
